We are headquartered in the Kansas City area but have a history of success serving financial service companies and trade associations nationally. Our professionals are located in other metropolitan markets as well. Our goal is to simply be the provider of choice in the markets we serve and a reliable advisor to our long-term clients.
Our collective experience (regulators, bankers and consultants) and history of success allows us to also serve in a support role to national trade associations such as the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) and the Bank Administration Institute (BAI). Obviously, much has changed since our company was first established. Our team finds itself in the most challenging regulatory climate in our memories. But while the regulatory challenge should be greatest in the traditional consumer compliance field, with major changes to Regulation Z and RESPA looming at year end, it seems that the greatest immediate threat is an over reactive regulatory examination force, economic downdrafts not seen in this generation and a subsequent liquidity/capital scare similar to or worse than the 80’s.
But let’s not give up on our compliance efforts just yet. In fact, the opportunity exists to refine our collective compliance skills and offer your customer or prospect the products they wish in the manner that they wish to interact. Compliance skills are still a differentiator and those companies with the ability to meet customer demand in a risk-averse manner should thrive when this economic tsunami subsides.
